Jagrati Awasthi is from Bhopal Madhya Pradesh. She has completed her B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Molana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal.
With her final year in collage Jagrati Awasthi gave the GATE 2017. She got selected in GATE 2017 with AIR 51. And chose to work with Bharat Heavy Electronics Ltd. (BHEL) in Bhopal itself.
Jagrati worked in Purchase division of BHEL Bhopal. However, after working with BHEL for two years, she decided to left in 2019 to pursue her dream of Becoming IAS.
Jagrati’s Journey of Becoming UPSC Topper
Jagrathi Awasthi started his journey of IAS in 2019 and gave IAS Prelims 2019. Unfortunately, she could not qualify in 2019 prelims.
She started her IAS 2020 Journey with more robust strategy. According to her the most important think in clearing IAS Exam is Consistency, Practice and Limited resources.

In CSE 2020, she secured All India Rank 2. She is topper in Girls as the First ranker is Shubham Kumar form Bihar.
Jagrati took Sociology as optional subject. She did her preparation at her Home.
She attended online coaching at Unacademy platform.

Jagrati Awasthi IAS Family- Parents and siblings
Jagrati lived in Bhopal with her parents and a brother. In other words, they are a family of four.
Her Father, S.C. Awasthi is a Homeopathy Doctor and Mother Madhulata is a former teacher.
She left her job on request of Jagrati during her GATE Preparation.
Jagrati Awasthi has a younger brother named Suyash. He is now pursuing MBBS form Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.
